“Reinfections are expected, not a failure of vaccines.” — Sarah Long, MD, of St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, discussing the CDC’s advisory committee vote to unanimously recommend that children 6 months and older receive COVID-19 vaccines.

“I’ve had children. I know what overactive bladder is.” — Renee Dahring, MSN, APRN, CNP, of Minneapolis, describing an atypical patient seeking a prescription for oxybutynin as the abuse potential of noncontrolled medications grows.

“I’m vaccinated. I’m doubly boosted. And I believe if that were not the case, I very likely would not be talking to you, looking as well as I look.” — Anthony Fauci, MD, chief medical adviser to President Biden, describing his recovery from COVID after having taken nirmatrelvir/ritonavir (Paxlovid).
